The building is not ready for students. The General Contractor (CSI) is assuming that they are going to pass the fire marshall's inspection the day prior to school starting. That's as arrogant and stupid as walking into a bank and assuming that you'll be approved for any loan that you want, no matter the $ amount. Unless you've got a lot of money, power and know lots of key people, you're going to be laughed at. The same can be said for the fire marshall. Unless the General Contractor has really greased the wheels with the him, they won't pass.

And if they do pass, CSI will be made out to be the hero when in fact the school is actually no where close to be finished and is still over a year behind schedule. What a joke.

Many of the youths of young generation are unmotivated troubled teens. Troubled teens are not happy with their life and live with various mental, behavioral, physical, psychological disorders. Teen depression and teen suicide are also very common problems of unmotivated teens. Treatment centers are helpful for those.

Yes!!! Bridge is open and I savored the moment as I stopped at the entrance and idled at 5mph across the whole bridge!! It was great and great for Mid America Motorplex!! We are proud of the community and Mills county and all these improvements are outstanding and well worth the wait!

A local website is showing a live webcam with still frames of the reconstruction (the Ranger house is being constructed right now). Here's the link (nice of these companies to do this). There are still and a recap of the construction in an AVI as well. http://www.hci-omaha.com/Default_files/LittleSiouxScoutCampRebuilding.htm

Re: Robert Edwin “Sully” Honig (1918 - 2008)

I am a 1st cousin twice removed of Sully and send my condolences. His mother Myrtle was my great-grandaunt, and his aunt Minnie Mae (Hardesty) Feeney was my great-grandmother. I'd very much like to contact anyone related to this line regarding the sharing of family genealogy information.

How sad that these little puppies were abused and left like this. Four years ago, our friend found a young kitten along Hwy. 34 near Glenwood that obviously some one had dumped. She didn't even have her eyes open yet! He stopped when he saw the young kitten and picked her up and brought her home. She was ready to waunder onto the highway. We now have her, since he passed away and I wouldn't trade her for anything. She still is frightened at loud noises and if anything falls and makes a noise. I know it's because something happened to here before we got her. We named her Lucky, because we felt she was Lucky to be alive after her rough start. I sure hope someone adopts these puppies. Why do people do these mean things to animals. They should be held responsible for their mean acts. I wonder how they treat their own children???
