Davies Amphitheater

Two great shows left to round out this weekend. On Saturday night (August 14) Sing, Sing, Swing will appear. This is the first appearance of this group at the amphitheater and it promises to be a terrific show. This is a 12 piece big band that plays Frank Sinatra, Michale Buble, Santana, Chicago, Kool and the Gang, and more. So not only be prepared to enjoy some great listening, but bring your dancing shoes as well. We hope to get some couples dancing in the pit!
Prior to the performance, starting around 6:00, the concession stand will be offering Sloppy Joe Meals. A Sloppy Joe sandwich, bag of chips, carrot sticks and a brownie for $5.00. All proceeds go to the roof fund.

On Sunday, you won’t want to miss Johnny Ray Gomez and his 50th anniversary review show. This performance was rescheduled from and earlier rain-out date. This will be a great show to see!

You won’t want to miss our “Rock The Roof Road Show” this Saturday (July 31). 3 great Hall of Fame Rock n’ Roll bands will perform from 7 til 10. This is a fundraiser for the Amphitheater and the Iowa Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame. Tickets are $12 at the door or $10 in advance and can be purchased at Glenwood State Bank, 1st National Bank and Jim Hughes Realty in Glenwood., or you can call (402) 250-7281 and tickets will be held for you at the $10 advance price.
